The Golden 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Calcutta Machinery Dealers Association (CMDA) was held with great enthusiasm on 4th July 2026 at the Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata, marking a significant milestone in the Association's journey of five decades. The inaugural session was graced by Smt. Moumita Biswas Misra, Hon'ble Minister of State for Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal, as the Chief Guest, along with Shri Sandeep Lalwani, Managing Director of Lalwani Ferro Alloys Limited, as the Guest of Honour, and several distinguished dignitaries. The guests were warmly welcomed by CMDA President Shri Amitabh Dassani and the members of the Association. In her address, the Chief Guest appreciated CMDA's valuable contribution to strengthening the machinery sector and advancing industrial growth in West Bengal. On this special occasion, President Shri Amitabh Dassani presented the Presidential Appreciation Awards to the Chairman of various CMDA Committees in recognition of their outstanding dedication, hard work, and valuable contributions towards the success of the Association's activities during the year. The event celebrated the unity, commitment, and accomplishments of CMDA members over the past 50 years, reaffirming the Association's vision of fostering collaboration and promoting the growth of the machinery industry. The memorable evening concluded with a grand dinner, where members and guests enjoyed warm fellowship, networking, and celebrations, making the Golden AGM a truly memorable occasion.
