On 14th September 2024, the Calcutta Machinery Dealers Association organized an enriching visit to Gangaramchak and Bhadulia coal mines, where members first explored the railway siding, a track used for efficient loading, unloading, and parking of trains in industrial operations. This was followed by an insightful tour of the Gangaramchak-Bhadulia coal mine, including a view of the coal stockyard and ongoing plantation efforts. A delicious Bengali vegetarian lunch was served afterward, featuring traditional dishes and an array of delectable sweets. The group then proceeded to the historic Bakreswar Temple and the renowned thermal hot springs, enjoying their spiritual and natural significance. The excursion beautifully blended technical learning, cultural exploration, and culinary delight, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
